Balance. This simple word carries many di erent meanings. Probably the most popular reference today is how we as a people balance life. Juggling family, work, service, exercise and social schedules on a day to day basis. Another meaning among us like-minded prac oners in MHA we balance the body’s energy by removing polari es in the eld. What does polarity mean? We rst think of posi ve and nega ve or north and south charges in a magne c eld. It also can be referred to as opposite, contradictory, and separa on.
This dichotomy is everywhere in our existence. I realize this more now than ever
in recent events. The massive hurricanes, the uncontrollable res and the tragedy in Las Vegas. These devasta ng happenings leave many wondering why? How can God, source, higher power allow such holocaust? The truth is it is all energy. The energy, on a universal scale, became severely o balance. Major polarity pulls that e ect all of us. Imagine our world (a collec on of all our energy) experiencing nega ve thoughts and feelings. Some of us about di erent topics, but many have similar doubts and fears about the same things crea ng a collec ve SEMO. BAM! The universe explodes with natural disasters and human tragedies.
The wonderful realiza on is God designed our existence to thrive on balance. These horrible events brought about the opposite energy of LOVE. A much needed change.
Our na on came together with an outpouring of support, prayers and a sense of oneness that had been temporarily forgo en. When the nega ve energy polarizes the energy will shi . It is inevitable. We are in control of how drama c the shi is by our choices in how we feel and respond. Whether it is in a one-on-one rela onship or as a country. It is all perfec on.
Everything that happens is a perfect response to re-establish balance. Don’t misunderstand, noone planned or wished for any of this to happen. And my heart goes out to all who were e ected by loss. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5. When we avoid judgment, self pity, and hate, by responding with resolve, oneness and love we achieve balance. Yin and Yang. Oneness.
For this I am truly thankful and grateful.
